Yo-Elle isn't getting scratched. He's got two goals in his last 4 games and he's doing a good job on the PK.

We need to keep pumping him to trade him at the TDL. Scratching him brings nothing.

At least Newhook gets to pucks, and goes to the net. I can’t find a single positive thing to say about the other kid and am pissed off at the org for holding the team hostage while he (apparently) rehabs. Hughes boys gotta play so he looks good.

Newhook has zero assists in 29 games it's insane , I don't even know how that's possible

He rarely make passes to a player in position to converted it into a goal and when he does they needs to have great accuracy to get pass the goalie who saw it coming.

But he's just a sample example of the team being discombobulated.

I looked at Jets roster and it's hard to call their roster more talented than Habs'. Save for their goalie. What is that they did in last 2 years to turn it around without going through the rebuild?

The coach left (wasn't fired) and replaced by Bowness (and now Arniel after Bowness retired) and the GM finally moved on from the toxic vet captain. Also, some good acquisition to plug holes last year on the line-up and their top players reached their prime.

I was thinking so too. But I kind of understand hanging onto Matheson. There’s no way they knew Hutson would be this good or even in the AHL. So I can understand keeping him for depth.

But that’s no longer the case. It’s time to move on from him.
