UFA has almost no good centers for the top 9. I'm not sure they want to give Stephenson a long-term contract (and maybe rightly so). So I would look for Monahan or Henrique.

But UFA will have a lot of interesting wingers who could suit us.

He was. Not sure why he fell out in Winnipeg and they had a hard time moving the puck out of their zone against the Avs.

Thought he was an interesting option that can actually play center and wing successfully. He also is a faceoff ace, which we are sorely missing.

While true, he's almost as allergic to the defensive zone as Skinner was. So in my mind, he's Skinner that can win a faceoff and is a touch more abrasive.

Clifton did play like a piece of Schmidt last year so maybe it’s a perfect match.
