Hughes. But Edvinsson impressing mightily this year. He’s a good reminder that a prospect’s trajectory is not defined by how quickly you reach the NHL but how good you are when you get there.

Voted Hughes but all 4 have very, very high potential. We'll see in a few years. I probably like Power the least from what I've seen but it's probably the Buffalo effect. Trade him to almost any other team and I'm sure he'd be great.

Edvinsson. That he's thriving in the role he's been thrust into with Seider is nuts.

The age old question. Would you rather have a guy dominate normal minutes like Luke has, or hold even in ridiculous minutes like Edvinsson has.

I was not at all expecting edvinsson to be able to step into that role and handle it so well at such a young age, or that they'd even try him in that role at all

Not sure how you can look at that and see "hold even", but ok...

Well, that is a deployment chart.

It provides 0 information about how well he has played.

ONLY how he has been utilized.

He could give up 4 goals every single shift and that chart would still look identical. (in fact it would probably make his deployment look much more impressive since it would jack up the stats of everyone he plays against).

That chart says he plays against guys who tend to win their minutes in terms of corsi.

Well, against those guys, he has a corsi of 49.45%. (and an xGoals share of 51%)
Luke plays against normal competiton corsi wise, but in those minutes, he has a 56% corsi,( and an xGoals share of 60%)

So like I said.

Hold even in a very very VERY tough situation, or dominate a normal situation?

Look at the colors my guy...

And you must have very loose definitions of dominating. Not to mention that examples exist that xG doesn't really mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. Expectations can only let you down if you don't follow through.

Luke with zero regrets, I just think he has the potential to be an elite guy in a way I'm not sure the rest of them can.

I have to say, however, Edvinsson has closed the gap mightily this year. He's really good!

RELATIVE

Being compared to Holl, Chiarot, Petry and Gustafsson whereas Luke is being compared to

Hamilton, Dillon, Siegs, and Kovy.

But that works both ways because his teammates aren’t as good either. GAR and RAPM numbers suggest he’s providing quite a bit of value
