One player not being named that I think will be high on first round lists when all is said and done is Chase Reid for Waterloo in USHL.

He didn’t play that many games this past season, but I see him almost as like a right handed Luke Hughes. Kris Letang if you want a righty comparison.
What is your opinion on Evan Jardine? Seems to produce a lot.

You think its that good? To me your list looks pretty average. Lots of the super talented guys in this class don't have the size.

No idea if it is that good but regarding size, most of these kids just turned 16, probably some growing to do for many. And I mean like Bjorck, Berchild and Nyman all listed at 5'-9, 165 - that's not bad physique for 16. These aren't tiny for their age.

No Croskery? I can't find it but in some other thread discussing him and Nyman, there was a quote from some scout or twitter guy saying he's a better pro prospect than Nyman and a threat to go very, very high in 2026.

Relative to the 2024 class, both of the next classes are exceptional, but on the whole, I expect the 2025s to be an above average class, and the 2026 class to be exceptional.

Not in my top 33, and certainly not on Nyman’s tier today, but there’s honestly 50 or so guys who trend to be 1st round quality…he’s definitely in that group!

As for the Czech players: along with Novotný, Katolický now looks like a first round player.
On the contrary, after the performance at the HGC, I don't see Dravecký in the first round, I expected more dominant performances from him.

Always difficult to predict so far out, so can’t fault anyone that gives their best effort. Good for the discourse. Thank you for the list.

I’ll echo the comment about Katolicky as a first rounder. I think he could be an early first rounder also. Novak is another Czechia player I think might go first round. Katolicky, Dravecky, Novotny, Novak would all be first rounders for me this far out for the draft and in that order.

I don’t see Francisco or Stuart as first rounders from the NTDP as of now. Reid from Waterloo looks like a first rounder out of the USHL, and I think potentially an early first rounder.

Nyman has ability with the puck, but will have to grow to go first round, let alone high first. I don’t think Hurlbert looks like an early first rounder based off what I saw at the YOG. Mid/late first. Di Iorio looked like a high first rounder at the YOG. I know some say he doesn’t always show that.

As for the Czech players: along with Novotný, Katolický now looks like a first round player.
On the contrary, after the performance at the HGC, I don't see Dravecký in the first round, I expected more dominant performances from him.
Agree, Katolicky is probably the best Czech for the 2026 draft as of now.

As for Dravecky, during pre-tournament/early in the tournament he looked like he was purposefully put there by the Slovak federation to sabotage the Czech team... at least throughout the tournament he progressed to the extent where he was no longer a liabilty I guess. But Dravecky in Slovak national jersey and Dravecky in Czech jersey have been two vastly different players so far.

Yes, there is still a lot of time and things will change. However, at the moment I don't really believe that Dravecky will be in the first round. It is quite possible that his performance was influenced by the fact that he eventually changed the Slovak national team to the Czech one, it could have been reflected and his performances were not quite ideal, a lot of attention was focused on him.
Novák is certainly an interesting player, but Katolicky looks like a better player now. But as it was written, there is still a lot of time left and everything can be different..

😀

Maybe Dravecky was really nervous about the transfer between those teams. But as you write, they were different players..

I think everyone is putting way too much on a summer tournament. Players aren’t in form and it was also his first tournament with new teammates. He’s a first round talent. If he continues to play like that, he’ll move down. I doubt he will.

well for JP Hurlbert i feel he will be a 1st round talent, as you said for putting too much into a summer tournament, you are judging Hurlbert off a YOG tourny, which personally i was not there but he could have had a bad tournament... JP has great hands with the puck and an amazing shot and works well in tight situations, he plays with a super high IQ. the JP i watched play never stayed to a perimeter game and had no fear of driving to the net, maybe he was hurt or something along those lines....either way, once he gets comfortable with the U17 team and starts playing like himself i guess that is when we see how his game is translating.

i really like Vlasov, what i seen online and what I have heard through the grape vine with people i know in Russia who scout Fedorov could easily be taken as high as 3rd overall he is stronger than Vlasov and grittier but Vlasov has such a high offensive ability that it is hard to over look, i like the exciting amazing hands and agility with the puck. There is so much time before this draft, this list will change a lot by then, but as of right now this is what i like.

Nyman i would love to put higher, but his size at the moment keeps him down the list, Dagenais in Quebec has a lot of offense, he needs to really work on being a complete player from what i saw, he is a guy with high upside.

This is a very strong draft with guys rated 2nd round who in different list could be 1st round talents...i look forward to following this draft class and hoping all continue with their trajectory, but there will be guys we are not talking about right now who will make a big jump for top 10 im sure.

I'm always a big fan of your personal lists as you're one of the best posters on this forum. I would love to see your 2026 list if you have one.

Here's an aggregated list from @Ovechkin962 , @GermanSpitfire , @HockeyProspects101 and @scoutman1 . Weighted a little more towards the lists added post-Hlinka/5-Nations/summer tourneys. I'll update if @Pavel Buchnevich or anybody else well known around this forum adds a list or if the earlier ones get updated (added a few more resources to the aggregation - but kept the "ranked" players limited to the posted lists in this thread):
