I thought it could be fun to have a thread with favorite goalie masks,myself like the little older one from the 90s

Yup, I always liked that style too. Same when Sharks or Bruins goalies did something like it



As a kid in the 90's, those were awesome!

Seem I failed with posting the pictures but it was masks of Moog in the Bruins and Shields/Heyward Sharks mask

This is counterintuitive to the beautiful designs painted onto goalie masks for years, but my all-time favourite as a young goalie at the time was the stark demon-skull that Mike Liut popularized many decades ago.

To me, it appeared unsettling in an unemotional, almost inhuman style. It was Jason Voorhees with a cooler design.

Although everyone and their mother hates Daveart masks, I absolutely think this one looked amazing in the home and away Jersey 2016.
My favourite one hands down. Then again I have only followed the NHL religiously from the year 2011, so haven't really seen many masks throughout my fan hood.

For me it starts and ends with Hiller.
Him and his artist have an awesome vision.
I'm partial to his flat black one, but I loved almost all of his masks. Cue-ball was the only one that missed the mark for me.
