Leafs vs cowboys in the world series book it

0 reason they shouldn't. They are the better, more experienced team no matter if they face Habs or Sens. I'll take either team in the first round. Should expect high energy from those teams but that will wear off as the series goes on.

I have them in the ECF at a minimum. Would be mind boggling to not make it that far.

Leafs usually lose by thin margins because they face a more veteran team and are out-goalied. Assuming they face Ottawa, Leafs will be the more experienced team with the better goalie (and forward and defense as well) so I think they'll win in convincing fashion.

They should advance. They really should. Their team is much better built for playoffs. I actually respect them now but I still can't stand marner & hope they lose in game 7 to the Habs or Sens
Hey no worries, we got a handful on our own board who can't stand Marner either!

Gonna be some major tears all around if he just breaks out hard and goes on a conn smythe run this postseason.

If Toronto has the better goaltending, forwards and defence, how have they given up more goals this year than Ottawa?

I keep hearing about this new and improved defensively-focused Leaf team and they are 12th in GA among the 16 current playoff teams.

Leafs vs Habs this year they are 2-1 with one game remaining.

Leafs vs Sens this year, they are 0-3.

I just feel like they don't have any experienced forwards who drag you into the fight.

Their Dcore is much improved and goaltending looks better. But Noone in their forward core screams we are going to war and I'm bring you with me and I think you need that.

As of today, Leafs would play the Devils.

Devils remaining schedule - Penguins, Islanders, Bruins, Red Wings
Senators remaining schedule - Canadiens, Flyers, Hawks, Hurricanes

Sens have the harder schedule IMO. So, it's possible the Devils could leapfrog passed the Sens. Either team would pose an interesting match up for the Leafs. Sens and Devils have given up fewer goals. Devils have a very similar goal differential. Battle of Ontario vs Devils speed and winning record home and away.

I think Treliving has tried to make the Leafs harder to play against. It comes down to the big 4 though. Woll and Stolarz have been solid in the regular season. Woll's had some playoff success as a starter, but both have limited experience.

Leafs swept season series with Devils, but two games needed OT. Senators swept the season series with the Leafs.

Do I want them to win? No. Do I think they can win? Yes. Do I think they will win? If the regular season is prologue, they have a 50/50 chance.
No, there is zero chance the leafs play the Devils in round 1, playoffs don’t work that way.

Devils is the only playoff round decided already, they are playing the Canes.
