Should say TV and/or streaming...

With all the discussion on streaming, etc. I thought this might be worth doing. The package would include preseason games and pre/post game shows. Playoffs not included because the NHL and other players would have their say. And will add full pause/rewind/etc. capability and let's say 1 week window to replay games.

ETA: And let's say Canes alone. No ESPN+ or similar (all NHL) availability to see just what you think Canes are worth.
- No blackouts anywhere.

Suggest you consider per game price vs cost of other entertainment options. FSTHs would be sorta paying double per game but please consider if you were not.

Leaving it at $250 as I doubt anyone will get that high.

Please post your reasoning and thoughts.

As for myself, I'll go $200 as it's ~$2.50/game which seems reasonable. And I'm old and comfortable financially which helps.

ETA

I had NHL.TV for its last few years of life and after a Veterans discount it was a little over $80 per season for the Canes only. That was a no Brainer for me. That being said I'm out if market my only blackouts were Caps games and national broadcast. If you could give every game zero blackouts for any reason I would go $200 although would be happier at $150

I put $100-150 because that's what I pay now with ESPN+, plus a little on top for the few games I don't get. Being out of market means that that's basically what my ESPN+ subscription already is.
Thanks for response makes sense. Changed it a bit to disallow the ESPN type packages...

Only the Canes, or full NHL package without blackout restrictions?
Just added that no full NHL restriction.

Right now I pay nothing. If the money goes to the NHL, then I will still, pay nothing. If the money goes to the Canes, I'll pay 100.00. But the first time you black me out, it's back to hoisting the black flag.

The easy way to remedy the STH / STM thing is to include the full TV package in the STM kit.

I’m moving to Germany later this summer for a couple of years. Does NHL.TV do playback or is it livestream only. May have to just do a VPN and Bally Sports+.

I think there was some delay in when the games were available for playback, but it was available last time I had it. Not sure how much of a delay for those living international.

I said $200-$250 and if I'm being honest, would probably go higher if they twisted my arm.

At $250, if we call the season 85 games including preseason, that comes out to a little under $3 per game. It's less than you'd pay to rent a movie, which is actually quite reasonable when you think about it that way.

I live in Montreal and have been paying around 200$ every year for full NHL access, but have been listening almost exclusively to Canes games. It used to be NHLCenterIce, then NHL Live, and it is now SportsNetNow.

For the very first time in 15+ years, I almost never have access to local Carolina broadcast for some reason (I assume SNNow does not have favorable agreement with BallySportSouth). It sucks, I miss Mike and Tripp...

I'd be willing to pay whatever it takes to get access to Carolina hockey online.

When center ice had full rights they used to have a side package called NHL Vault , which was 4.99 a month , that was great , it would show like maybe only 2-3 random games a month , but after like 2 hrs after games were played you could watch any games plus you could go back like 5 years of games and they had a section of classic games which had like100s to choose from.
Now in Canada we have Sportsnet , they will show every game but ive had game where they would cut mid OT or shootout to show the national anthem of the next game also to note Center ice had both teams feed , sportsnet dont. its 300$ a year or 40$ a month , i wish we still had NHL network in Canada
i would pay 10$ a month for just my team i dont care for other teams

I mean the Canes are a huge part of my identity. If a TV provider wanted to be a butt head, they could probably charge me a couple thousand dollars each season and I’m still buying in. But would love a sour taste in my mouth.
