In part 1 I voted:

Hull
Hasek

In this one, I had to take out Richard to pick Jagr instead

Not in order but Bourque, Crosby, Hasek, Jagr and OV. McDavid is amazing and will be top 5-15 by the time he's done. But right now he doesn't belong in this poll. Not sure how some people are voting for him.

Will the young guns listed in the title dominate this thread or will vets like Hasek, Jagr, and others hold the throne?

Projecting out their careers, I'd go:

McDavid
Crosby
Ovechkin
Beliveau
Hasek

McDavid has a gap between him and the rest of his current competition that we haven't seen since Gretzky and Lemieux. Barring injury, I expect that to continue for at least a few more years. I can absolutely see McDavid pushing his way into the top 5 all-time.

Too many guys getting by on a 6 team league that won multiple cups.
Beliveau has 2 Harts, 1 Art Ross and a Conn Smythe.

Wooptydoo.

But he won 29 Stanley Cups on dominating Habs teams.

Then you got someone like Frank "Lady Byng Specialist" Nighbor
Give me a break

Mcdavid needs to win championships for now he doesn't belong in top 5 or 10 talks. He has replaced Dionne in history as of right now

In no order:

Crosby
Jagr
Ovechkin
Roy
Messier

To me based on what they have/did achieve. Mcdavid can certainly get there, but we're comparing guys with 1400+ NHL points to a guy with almost 800 as it stands.

Roy is underappreciated too I believe. I'd put him as 5th all time any position in NHL history behind Gretz, Lemieux, Orr, and Howe.
