Will the Habs make the playoffs?

Our current win rate is not sustainable. It will drop at some point.
0.800 is already dropped from their last 14 games record. ;)

Also, the Habs run is way more sustainable than people think. Maybe not 0.821 sustainable until season end, but it's going to take a major injury and/or HuGo deciding to sell every UFA at the deadline despite being in a playoff spot for a drastic change of direction.

This Habs team isn't collapsing without external help.

"Habs rebuild needs a rebuild"

"This team has no structure"

"MSL is the worst coach in the league"

You forgot "HuGo are bad"...and yes, that was a thing before we started winning.

The head to head matchups will be key. They still have games against Detroit, Philadelphia, NYR, TB, OTT and Boston. If they're still in the race, all of these games will be playoff type games. The question is will they keep up this kind of play ? They likely won't be winning like they are, but they seem to be playing sustainably at the very least.

This whole winning streak and playoffs push has kind of revitalized the mood about the Habs on social media and in real life. Just came back from IGA and i heard at least 2 different conversations while rolling through the alleys about how the Habs are on fire and how these people started believing again. I'm seeing more and more positivity and hype on face de bouc as well.

I have no doubts that the players and managements feel this too and feed from it. Again we must still be careful in our optimism but it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the last couple of years.

Only team that really scares me now is Columbus. We’re better than the Wings. Ottawa and Boston suck.
Columbus and Detroit are pretty much having a goal scoring streak and it's mostly coming from their power play. They haven't had a big defensive improvement like the Habs had. Both should eventually even off and go back too play closer to .500, unless they somewhat improve defensively in the 2nd half.
