Playoff beard question

Hey all, question for my fellow hockey freaks regarding playoff beards. Do you shave clean the day before the playoffs and start fresh for round 1? Or do you just continue on from whatever you have once the playoffs begin. I always thought the former but I need more opinions on this.

I shave the day before. But that's because facial hair looks awful on me and I prefer it to not get out of control.

If I was capable of growing a sick Zetterberg-tier beard though, I'd start weeks early for sure.

Pretty sure it is like Movember. Supposed to start clean. Sharks broke the rules of the hockey gods last year and got cruelly punished for it.

I have a beard 365 days a year, but I trim it somewhat closely before the start of the playoffs.

This exactly. Haven't been under a 2 in a few years.
So for playoff beards I cheat and start there. I need the head start anyways

Have to agree with Jesus here. If you have a beard already going into playoffs, it's not a playoff beard.
