Please help me finish up this list. A player only qualifies if they are eligible for the tournament (and probably would have made it) but cannot play due to injury or is in the NHL.

USA IMO has been hit the hardest, but they have the depth to compensate pretty well for it.

I would not be too happy if this happened with a Canadian playing anywhere other than the NHL. If they aren't contributing to the big league club, I don't see any reason to not let them go.

Crazy! This guy is killing it in the best league in the world and could've played two more events. Gretzky tore up the WJC in '78, leading it in scoring... and was still eligible for THREE more tourneys!
