I've tried searching for both Kings and Panthers hats, but can't find that particular one. As Reclamation Project said, might be a players only kind of thing.

haven't found it yet which is weird. checked 3-4 stores, all very reliable usually. so apparently they haven't been selling these, but I thought I saw.
different kind of hat which is good, but doesn't really look good with a jersey as the Florida pic can attest.
also Lidz.com does not have them I noticed.

Response from NHL SHOP
I too have been looking for this hat, even before the season started. I've checked shop.nhl.com everyday as well as other websites and the TeamLA Store, both online and in store. As of right now, they do not exist for the public. I even contacted NHL Shop and here is their reply:
We searched our website to see if we had the hat you described.
Unfortunately, we do not carry this item at this time. We apologize for
any disappointment this may cause you. We operate a real-time inventory
system that updates our web store catalog according to what is available
in our inventory. If an item, size, or color is not available, we either
remove it from the Internet store or remove the "Add to Cart" button to
avoid any confusion. In addition, we do not have the ability to view the
inventories of other retailers that may carry our products.
We are always adding new products to our online store; however, due to
manufacturer's schedules, we are unable to provide estimated arrival
times for product replenishments unless otherwise indicated on the
website. Please periodically check back with us to see if we are
carrying the product you inquired about.
If you happen to come across these hats, please let me know and I will do the same under this post.

I wouldn't want one they are fugly. They look like something Elmer Fudd would be wearing while he is out huntin' wabbits.
I wish the NHL had never signed a deal with New Era, their hats are way too homeboyish for my liking. Plus, the 39Thirty is the only design of their hats that look decent on me. The NHL should've stuck with Reebok as their official hat manufacturer.
I feel sorry for the players. I'm assuming the NHL does this, but I know in football, the players are forced to wear whatever the league is pimping out as their new design. I realize you have to wear your team when giving interviews, sitting on the bench etc. but let the players wear anything with the logo. Honestly, the Kings should be wearing Cup Champs hats until the playoffs.

If so......
Look at the Reebok logo on the side of them.
I personally don't like Reebok hats because they are undersized. They don't use standard hat sizes so when I get an XL for my 7-5/8" hat size head it's too small.
