Man, I remember when they were winning cups they had face punchers like Phil Kessel and a young Conor Sheary. Nobody messed with those guys.

For people not following, the Sebastian Aho this thread is about is the Swedish defenseman (with the same name as Carolina’s all star Finnish forward, but in fact a different person!).
His entire NHL career to date has been a depth guy for the Islanders (their 6d on a good day) but the Pens signed him to a 2 year deal at league minimum this summer … and apparently he wasn’t quite good enough to make their planned day one roster. And nobody else saw enough in him to put in a waiver claim either.
