Pikard has been great as the back up. He's not the problem. He's 11-4 respectfully with excellent rebound control. It's Stu Skinner that's been super inconsistent since EDM anointed him as the starter.

Problem is, management is in love with him and the homers defend every bad goal he lets in, or pin it all on Bouchard or Nurse, or literally blame McDavid for not scoring enough, while the rest of the league laughs at Skinner and wonders why the Oilers are so blind to his faults, especially when the team has been so close to winning it all... So the only realistic option is to replace Pickard.
