This was quite surprising as most of us figured he would be in a KHL this next year. Did very well over there so it will be exciting to see how he develops.

Considering the Penguins already have Blomqvist and also signed Filip Larsson, I wouldn't be surprised to see Murashov loaned to a Russian team for next year.

I think he will start in the ECHL and a goalie gets moved early in the season.

I think Larsson will have to go through waivers. Not that I think he will get claimed, but you never know.

So I guess they'll wait until after the waivers action and take it from there.

I’m probably the only one with this opinion, but I honestly think this kid might be the next great Russian goalie coming over to the league.

Long way to go to make this a reality, but in hoping the Pens have a Shestirkin/Georgiev tandum in the works with Blomqvist and Murashov. Gauthier probably has solid backup potential too. Definitely the one part of our prospect pool that needs no help.
