So, with Pickering sent back to Wilkes-Barre will it be Shea or Graves on the 3rd pairing? Any chance Imama gets in today? Seems like an unusual choice for a call-up at forward. I guess he'll have to cover all those fights that Rust will miss since he's out with a LBI.

Day game on the west coast? We know how this will go.

Wait why was Pickering sent down?

Maybe Imama is here bc a team is interested in seeing him for trade purposes…??

Nice to see them put someone in the lineup who plays with some balls. You can be a bad team or a soft team, but not both. Pens need a jolt and they weren't gonna get it from the weak, lifeless roster they've been icing all season. As an outsider who doesn't even root for Pitt, I was just frustrated as a hockey fan seeing the way they play and the makeup of the roster for a few years now. Just unacceptable.

Obviously this doesn't move the needle in the grand scheme of things but at least they did it, even if it's only for a game.

Should have put EK65 on L2 instead, can't be any more useless at scoring when on a line with Geno than Glass or Bunting. ;)

Imama won't play unless too many forwards are out due to injury/illness. He was brought up to collect a paycheck for a few days.

Looks like Picks is staying in WBS.

Ya know, if you want to say Pickering hasn’t been playing as well and they want to send him back down to work on some things, that’s fine. Not like we’re going anywhere this season anyways.

It’s just that ONLY young guys are ever ‘punished’ for not being flawless. That’s my issue with it.

Pickering was one of the few reason i watched. I enjoy watching young players play hard and improve unlike the old failures we keep sending out and never benched.

Hahaha awesome, Dubas saw my comment last week calling him a coward for not calling him up

Imama is now leading the team in hits after that shift
