Not a Sens fan, but I see him as radioactive for a couple of years.

Which team management will want to do anything, and I mean anything, that risks upsetting the very thin balance between the league and gambling advertisers. The league needs those dollars, teams know this, and even if his suspension was exagerated, teams won't want to risk it.

Ottawa has already offered him multiple options for long term deals. His suspension had nothing to do with his character or his talent. He's well loved by teammates and was practicing with coaches way before his suspension was lifted.
and here we are...

He’s a dumbsss that was caught gambling but is a core piece to what Ottawa is building. They will NOT move him, under any circumstance.
I can think of some circumstances, Pastrnak, Quinn Hughes, Bedard all 1v1 could get him.

Just no realistic one :)

I think they'll sign him. There's already been several contract options that have been discussed. The idea of moving him seems to pop up somewhat frequently but mostly from people not following things closely it seems.

Sens need him too much to move him. We have very little in the way of grit and hustle on the team, so we're not moving one of the few players we have in that category (and don't ask about Greig, either).

And he’s turned them down or what? That doesnt sound promising.

What about Greig?

He did the team a favour by signing for league min, so we didn't have to immediately trade someone, and could just waive one.

He loves the team - and says so in every interview - and will sign something longer this summer when we have more cap space. We'll see whether or not that's a 2-3 year bridge, or 6+ year deal.

Pinto has stated many times how much he wants to be a part of the core, and Staios has said the same about Pinto on multiple occasions. His teammates love him, the fans love him. He's a very good young player and he continues to push his ceiling. The team had been brutal the past 7 years but somehow they've been a wildcard-level team with Pinto in the lineup (120 points in 105 games).

If Dorion were in charge I'd be scared they would dangle him (sounds like they did), but there's no way Staios moves this player in the next 3 years while they have him under team control.

My guess is he signs a 3x3 in the summer, and will still be an RFA at the end of it.

very well could sign long-term but this means nothing

This is cruel - but all you bleeding heart OTT fans saying he loves the team is really making me want him to leave. Specifically to the Rangers

I mean watch some of the interviews and podcasts. He loves it in Ottawa.

His dad, a Ranger fan, also puts the exact same hashtags on all of his tweets... Let's be real he's gonna be a Senator for a while, thankfully.

If they pay him fair I'm sure he would sign , his dad seems to like it there.

I still think the Flyers will make a run for him something around Frost but by the sounds of Sens fans
it might be a hard get.
