It's close, and when Theodore has his clutch moments he's better offensively. But overall Petro is still the better Dman.

It probably is but Theodore just bring so much more ES offense so I took him (going into next season which is how I took the poll).

If there was a too close to call option I would have taken it.

I’ve felt for years that Pietrangelo is overrated. Theodore for me.

You just can’t overlook the skating. It’s so important from the back end.

Pietrangelo is one of the best D of his generation. But right now it’s Theodore.

I'll vote Petro, but it can flip-flop every night. They're both excellent.

I want to say Theodore as someone still annoyed that Pietrangelo has been weaker than advertised and for the money he makes but he's still unquestionably a strong defenseman.

It really is a toss up between the two on any given night. Theodore, in spite of his numbers, had an off year in terms of his overall game.

It's tough to say. All I'd say is if Vegas had to lose one for some reason, I'd rather lose Petro at this point. Theodore's utility as an engine for Vegas' transition game is underrated. And considering how much Vegas relies on rush offense, he's more valuable to the team. Slightly. We'll see how things are under Cassidy.
