Who are your 6 d-men for Gm1 of the playoffs?

Rielly, McCabe, Giordano, Brodie and Schenn should be the locks. I'd like to have Liljegren get in a good amount of playoff experience through this run of games. Conversely, something might be said for having experience in there for Game 1.

Rielly-Brodie
McCabe-Holl
Giordano-Schenn

or

McCabe-Brodie
Rielly-Liljegren
Giordano-Schenn

McCabe and Brodie
Lilly and Gio
Holl and Schenn

Rielly can be a forward as he has no desire to play our defensive system

When he was out our defensive system was lights out as everyone bought in.

Reilly Brodie
Lilly McCabe
Gio Chien

I have Holl as the odd man out to start.

Rielly - Brodie top pairing

Bring offense, puck transition and get 2nd defensive matchups

Rielly turns his game up always come playoffs and him and Brodie have chemistry. I also dont want brodie on the top pairing as he cant handle that heat any more and we have a guy we spent almost 6 years developing ready for that role

McCabe - Lilijgren

Shutdown pairing. Get the hard matchup and they simply need to do the basic plays in the offensive zone while being able to coear the rease, make a quick exit when available and cut off cycle play

Gio - Schenn

Bottom pairing who can be given more minutes if the top 2 pairs have a bad period or so. Gio can still play well in smaller minutes but we cant uave him being caught against better players or we will see his ankles shattered again like game 6 last year. Schenn is perfect bottom pairing defenseman. Mucb better fit for a low maintenance bottom pair then Holl

Rielly is one of our best playoff performers of the era. Get over your hate he is going to show up really big for us when it matters most, he always does. I'm expecting him to be on the ice for 25+ minutes.

This is honestly such a layup that it would take an effort on Keefe's part to not see it/f*** it up.
I probably care more about the distribution of minutes than I do the actual pairings. The right side of the D also has the players that might not be lineup fixtures (Liljegren, Holl, possibly Schenn?)

Gonna be testing down the stretch here so hard to say but right now its:

Rielly - Liljegren
McCabe - Brodie
Gio - Holl
Schenn

Gus is going to get some reps still to see how he gels in.

McCabe - Brodie
Rielly - Liljegren
Giordano - Holl

If the series gets too physical, I can see Schenn coming in for Liljegren.
