To Philadelphia: Marat Khusnutdinov, David Spacek and a 2025 2nd round pick

To Minnesota: Bobby Brink

Philadelphia gets a good center that has played with Michkov before but is blocked by Ek, Rossi and possibly Yurov when he comes over, a good right handed defenseman that is now blocked by Jiricek and a low 2nd rounder.

Minnesota gets a natural right wing which is one of their biggest weaknesses.

For Bobby freaking Brink! Are you insane?

wild shouldn't be trading Marat, even if he's playing on 4th line. no reason to when he's close to Kaprizov and Russian. Brink isn't doing good in Philly either. wild need for Yurov and our other top winger prospect

I feel like >0.5 PPG, high majority at even strength, at only 12:30 TOI per game isn't doing bad.

apparently, he's been scratched. / benched in Philly a few times or more by John T. Just don't think we need another small player who can't at least co-exist or hold their own in the DZone.

An interesting proposition to be sure. But the kind that gets GMs fired. Either one in this case could be the victim of a highway robbery. I don't think it will fly...high on risk.

It’s an egregious overpay by MN. They have Heidt, Ohgren, Yurov and cap space coming this summer. No need to overpay for a bandaid with middling production and questionable upside

The biggest issue i see with this is, particularly from Minnesota's perspective...teams don't tend to trade young Centers and RH Defencemen for small Wingers, unless they're particularly special. Brink is the best player in this deal, but i'm not sure it's by enough to justify Minnesota giving up two players at more premium positions, when they're all young. Plus a decent pick on top of it.

Finding decent Wingers in the bargain bin just really undermines their value. Same way teams tend to let those types "slip" in the draft.

Change it to Foerster, balance the value, and there might be something there.

Lol, right now Brink is >> Foerster, and >> Khusnutdinov. That's why you don't see a lot of Flyers fans in the thread. I'm not a fan, but I've seen more than enough of Brink, Foerster and Khusnutdinov to be sure about what I'm saying.

Minnesota's GM is not going to trade for a 5'8" winger.
