Fire Sirianni, hire Ben Johnson? @JojoTheWhale

I want to know what happened this year because I have much wider concerns than just coaching. Who chose Desai? Why did they buy a stalking horse?

Whoever the next HC is (next year or in the future), I want him calling plays.

And I want a grizzled old guy DC. The guy who's been calling his defense for at least 2 decades and probably won't get a Head gig again. I have come to value experience in DCs more than anywhere else in a football org because you have to know the answers to every question.

I swear to god, if they fire Sirianni and promote one of the loser Coordinators as an Interim HC, that’s going to be grounds for dismissing Howie.

I heard on the radio the other day from McLane that they hired Desai after they went to Fangio and asked him who they should hire in his stead and he naturally told them Desai (“his protege”).

I’m not sure if that’s been something that’s reported.

Shows the last time I listened to talk radio.

Maybe it's my own fault but one of the reasons I liked the Siranni hire was I thought he would be calling the offensive plays. That's a damn near requirement these days because after a season of any modicum of success, your play calling O-coordinator is getting poached, unless you have a Tom Moore type that has no aspirations of a HC job.

you can have Bowles lol

Was it here that I said it? I don’t think Nick is safe. Every week it looks more and more like keystone cops and people starting to get loose lips. Not saying he’s definitely out, but he’s not definitely in.

He was untouchable in Lurie’s eyes even before the Super Bowl win but not many executives would optically survive firing guys with Pederson & Sirianni’s records. Sirianni is still going to be well over .600% in win percentage after this year & a year removed from a Super Bowl appearance.
You can probably include Chip in there also. I’m still baffled that he’s been able to escape accountability from many things over the years. It’s fascinating.

As you’ve mentioned, the amount of people Howie is going to throw under the bus in the weeks to come is going to be a sight to see.

Yeah I’m just saying Pederson & Sirianni are gonna end up two of the more successful head coaches in team history. You fired Pederson the first plausible chance you got while seemingly putting all the blame on him & now it appears it’s going to happen again with Sirianni.

I’m not defending the coaching job done this year but at the same time this roster isn’t nearly as good either but that discussion isn’t really being had nearly as much which probably isn’t by coincidence.
