Look at it this way. We'll see what the team is made of, facing a ton of adversity. Yeah, I don't see the Cowboys losing to the Commanders. Even if they do, we still have to beat the Giants for homefield in the playoffs right? lol.

They'll keep doing the same things they've been doing. They're convinced they're better than everyone else, smartest guys in the room.

A whole team of "tools and no tool box".

Of course I would have been on cruise control to a FF title this week had I not had 3 guys put up goose eggs last week.

Last year was a breeze, with little to no adversity. It's looking really bleak right now as they're still looking for their true identity coming into the final week of the season. I'm intrigued to see how thing play out both next week and in the playoffs.

The defense is bad and the body language of a lot of the offensive players isn't promising. Not having homefield advantage might work to our advantage as it seems like they're feeling the pressure from the fans at the stadium lol
Please. They've been facing adversity since Washington took them to OT. Nothing has changed, and nothing will change. All adversity causes them to do is stand in front of the media and drop a bunch of empty quotes about accountability and being better.

Shane Steichen in Nick Sirianni’s offense had Jalen Hurts looking like an MVP Candidate. I believe he can be that again, even in Nick’s offensive scheme, but it won’t be with that assclown Brian Johnson at OC.

But after today, a culmination of the last 17 weeks, Nick probably has to go too. You can’t keep having the same glaring issues week after week without so much as even minor improvements in those areas. This team was a paper tiger at 10-1 and SF f***ing ripped them open and spilled them out. They haven’t been right all year, but SF really gutted them.

Howie needs to pull his head out of his ass and actually learn to invest in things other than the DL & OL.

Well, how much can be said that hasn't been said? I did think the Cardinals would win, and had believed that when it was clear that the Eagles were beyond leaking oil and no longer deserved the benefit of the doubt. It's just not there. They don't have the coaching, and they don't have the personnel. On either side.

Defense - They can't get pressure, they can't stuff the middle, they have no linebackers, and most of the secondary, if they can't keep up, they just can't cover. Their linebackers are absolutely pathetic. They gambled on Nakobe Dean staying healthy and that led to everything else. Nolan Smith, can't get on the field until they basically have to experiment with him playing off the ball. And because they can't do any of this, they also get worn out. I was watching game with some family, and someone who doesn't really know enough to talk about football in-depth, saw that the TOP was 30 minutes to 9, and knew what anyone else would know about that. The Pick Six that left the defense back on the field may have hurt them more than it helped. That was 24 plays and nearly an entire quarter on the field. I think they're going to have to be completely rebuilt. Almost everyone is either too young or too old, and I think Jordan Davis is going to be a bust. Did both he and Carter get brought off the field late like they were the past couple of weeks? Other than just making plays, they do not have answers, and they do not have the talent, or at least developed talent. Ringo looks like he has a beat on a corner spot, but I don't think Slay is going to be back either.

The end of the game management is absolutely ridiculous. I didn't get to run down the entire thing. Jalen slides to take the loss on 2nd down, they have to call time out on 3rd & 20, and then it's a quick bubble to Gainwell. None of that can happen. They say they want to make big plays, but defenses know how to gang up on some of these routes. Lord, they get 2 touchdowns from Julio Jones. AJ Brown has been neutralized. Now DeVonta is hurt. Goedert is supposed to be a top 5-8 TE, but doesn't have much schemed for him, and the depth behind those three guys have been pathetic, including the backups at tight end. The tight end situation is something they got away with, but we've seen around the league how important multiple tight end sets are, and to not be able to utilize them - that is on Nick and Howie.

This did not start against San Fran. This team has looked inept at times all year, they just have done it more lately and at worse times.

It's been over two months since they won a game by more than 10 points and it has only happened twice this year (Tampa and Miami). The signs were always there. This is really a 9-8 team. Many questions need to be asked for the 2024, but I dont think they are doomed for the future.

All new coaching staff would be a good start. At least new coordinators and a rebuilt D this off season. Use the draft for all D and an O tackle. Maybe a later round RB. Another TE would help too but priorities. The D is a hot mess and that obviously is going to hold them back if they don't legitimately fix it.

We need linebackers for sure, this patchwork bullshit Howie has been doing for years is being exposed every single game

WR screens and QB draws, Brian Johnson needs to go asap. If Sirianni keeps him, Sirianni needs to go too. It’s already clear something deteriorated in the defensive chain of command. Sirianni needs to make some tough decisions and get control of his team or he’ll be gone.
