This Russel Wilson benching situation is pretty crazy.

If I remember correctly, it is very similar to what happened with Carr in Vegas last year.

In Carr's situation his contract was guaranteed for this year for some specific reason, either certain numbers or if he was injured, so they made him inactive to ensure he wouldn't secure whatever was needed for it to be guaranteed.

I'm pretty sure Wilson's has a ton of guaranteed money so Denver asked him to rework his contract and he said no, so now they're going to just try to make him go away. If I was Russel, they can pay me that guaranteed money to do nothing. You signed him to that contract. In fact, you traded for him and signed him to that contract. Funny how teams never go to a player on a "team friendly contract" when they're playing well and give them more money, only ever seems to go the other way.

If he is injured in the last 2 games it could cost them $39 million apparently. They're in the playoff hunt though. Pretty shrewd.

Joe f***ing Flacco

Guy better win comeback player of the year

For all of the dopey talk that surrounded his career, this is his second stretch where he caught fire like a Tier 1 QB.

Side note, but I would be sick to my stomach if I was a Jets fan. They’re in the playoffs if they sign Flacco after Week 1 instead of going with Rodgers’ buddy.

I think this is just further evidence that the Eagles are a QB factory

Wonder what the percentage is for the best RB in fantasy Boston Scott.

Continue to stroke yourself for getting lucky. He stayed healthy for a change and scored as may TDs as the previous 3 seaaons combined. Risk/reward, and this year was one of his 2 huge td years. I checked my 3 leagues. He is in one championship game and in 3rd, 1.5 games out with 2 to go in the league that has no playoffs and goes to week 18.

Just take the L, my dude.

CmC is unquestionably the top player this year in fantasy. He would actually get my vote for MVP, but will probably lose to Lamar Jackson. I just consider injury risk in the top of the first round of fantasy. I think he went 4th in my top league. I took Herbert 3rd, and it was all downhill from there.
