I think the Eagles shouldn't give a crap who they play.

If you want to win a Championship, you have to have the arrogance to think if you play your game, it doesn't matter who the opponent is. It may not be true, but it helps if a team thinks that it's true.

Oh I agree. I’m just talking about it from an outsider’s view.

We’re missing a certain team here, Jojo.

No one should want to play the Rams. Highest QB ceiling of any team in the NFC and they have less wins, so it’s more likely to get you fired if you lose. I just don’t think they’re the single worst stylistic matchup for anyone in particular.

Anyone have the tiebreakers on NFCN? I'd prefer if the Vikings win that puppy.
If the Vikings win out they would win the division. Their schedule is rough though. At Seattle, then home to the Packers, and then go to Detroit. The Eagles need to win out and as of now they lose the tiebreaker with either NFC north team at 15-2.

Minnesota must beat Detroit in Week 18 or they lose all Divisional tiebreakers. The Vikings have an extra Conference Loss, so unless Detroit also loses to Chicago or SF, Detroit wins even with the same record.

The only likely path here is Minnesota winning out.

And for those who care, the Eagles need a lot of tiebreaker help to beat either team. They'd be in a much better spot if they lost to JAX instead of ATL.

I just algorithm'd into a Carson Wentz clips video and I'm completely serious because I was even dumber back then than I am now

Was Wentz actually amazing before he got hurt or was that all a mirage a la Hurts? Like did he have obvious, exploitable, maddening flaws to his game or did injuries genuinely ruin what could have been more years of great play?

The comp I used for all of 2017 was Carson Palmer not because of playstyle, but for the ways in which he excelled -- an absurd 3rd Down conversion rate and RZ TD rate. Wentz's 2017 and Palmer's 2nd year are about as analogous as it gets. Both had years as great as they looked. But no one can repeat that formula year in and out.

I was dreading him being on the Manningcast since he’s a notorious grump but he’s actually pretty funny on that show (& insightful of course).

I've said it several times but the live reactions to big O or D plays on their parts is absolutely fantastic. Deep throw in the air and the Mannings are on their feet and Bill looks like he's preparing to eject his internals

"Week to week" and he's a full participant at practice today.
What's this, the second or third year in a row where he gets "injured" late in the season?

(Id insert a sarcasm emoji but for whatever reason the options above the text box have been blocked out for months for me on my phone)
