My Dad will be 81 years old this year. He's been an Eagles fan for his entire life. He said when they won their last super bowl that he didn't think he'd ever live to see it. I told him on the phone before the game today that the Eagles were going to win, but it would be important that if they got a lead they'd need to keep their foot on the gas to make the refs a non-factor. Mission accomplished. (and actually, aside from the start of the game the refs have been pretty fair, IMO.)

He has a lot of health issues going on right now, so I'm really happy for him. He's called me probably 5 or 6 times throughout the game, lol.

I'll be 50 soon, and if the Flyers ever win another Cup I'll probably say the same thing - I didn't think I'd ever live to see it. I was a month old the last time they won a Cup.
