Detroit looks tremendous on offense, but their D is another matter. They put little to no pressure on Williams all day.

You have to put the Eagles in the drivers seats in the NFC right now, with Detroit and Minny right behind. SF might not even make the playoffs, which would be hilarious.

After finally watching the end of the game, are we sure Williams would have been capable of clocking it? How is he escaping all criticism here? It shouldn't take a QB 25 seconds to get a play off after a sack, not like everyone had to run 35 yards up the field. Don't the practice this stuff?

Obviously Eberflus (among the worst names of all time btw) should be calling a time out when he realized things obviously weren't going smoothly or better yet after the sack to regroup. He's an idiot. But Williams isn't exactly innocent either. Maybe they don't practice this stuff after all

Detroit is still the better team. I really don't know where all of this is coming from now. Get them outside and now you're cooking with gas. But I'm very worried about how playoff games are called with respect to the PHL offense vs DET defense. If Detroit is allowed to clutch and grab the Eagles' WRs, that means they can stay in Man and then everything changes. Now Hurts has to go out and win that game. It's a big ask for anyone but the top tier QBs.

Hell, the Packers are on the same tier with the Eagles and have by far the best QB of the three main NFC contenders.

Watch it again. Everyone is assuming a TO is coming because to not do so is nuts. That takes a few seconds away. Then Williams gets the directive and goes into action at 0:25. He begins using hand signals. It then takes another 5 seconds for everyone to get back across the LoS and line up. Kmet and the Slot line up wrong, talk to each other, and then fix it. That takes 4+ seconds. 3 seconds later, the ball is snapped.

Right see this is what I'm missing because I don't know the intricacies of this stuff. If you're telling me it overwhelmingly looks like no one knew what was going on until 25 seconds, then you 100% know I'll agree that's a joke and it's all on the coach. I do remember seeing confusion on the left side of the los.

You can see a WR's helmet crossing back onto their side of the LoS at 19. On the one hand, that slight delay at each step is normal. On the other, it's why you call Timeout. Lining up for a play that has to get Yards vs a Kill is completely different.

It's almost like he thinks he's playing madden. Sure ripping into a quick play for 5-10 yds then calling timeout is fine when all you have to do to "choose" a play and get everyone to their spot is hold triangle and press square.
