5:30 PM Me says DE Nolan Smith at #10, RB Jamyhr Gibbs at #30. Gibbs is a nice upgrade over Sanders IMO.

EDIT: Not a great source. But there are reports out there that the Cardinals will trade down.
Which probably means that all QBs go before 10 and we won't have anyone offering us a haul to trade down.

So Carter (trade-up) or the boring option of picking at #10 (most likely Nolan Smith I hope) it is..

I don't want Gibbs personally. But if you can believe all those rumors swirling around today (you probably can not), he won't make it to #30 anyways most likely.

Mayock was on Chris Long’s pod. Good listen if you have time. Lots of F bombs.

A lot of draft twitter is saying Tennessee is looking to move up. But would you move up in your first year as GM? I know making hitting a home run is important and getting that franchise QB on a rookie QB is the most valuable thing ever. But the rest of that roster is cheeks. So why mortgage the future?
Ran is a Gator. :)

As someone who doesn't follow prospects or college sports at all (outside of reading what many fine folks post here) I have to admit the WIP Bijan hype along with the Carter drama, actually has me pretty amped for this draft. I may even watch more than a few minutes of it. I'm sure I'll be flipping back and forth between the draft and whatever else, but hey, baby steps.

If Bijan really is a Deebo, CMC type that can do everything, I want him. I don't care if it's non-conventional or whatever. The heart wants what the heart wants, and my heart wants all the weapons.

I don’t know about taking Nolan smith at 10. He killed the combine but the lack of production is troubling to me. Could be Mamula 2.0 or the next Haason. Would much rather go Oline or Corner if Carter is gone. Too much projection for my liking with Smith at 10. I’d honestly rather them take Ojulari at 30 than Smith at 10.

He is not. He can certainly catch the ball very well but IMO he is no Deebo or CMC. Gibbs fits that description better (but he is not as physical as those guys).

The hype with Bijan is out of control right now. He is a great prospect but I don't think he is a better prospect than Saquon or Zeke were.

FWIW, here’s what I think Howie does. Fair warning, I rarely get these things right!

If Jalen Carter is still on the board at 7, I think Howie moves 10 and a couple picks in 24 (3rd and 5th, they have a ton of picks next year) and he moves up and grabs a guy who might just be the best pure D player in this draft.

Next, i think they trade back from 30 and get a high 2nd and a high 4th. With their 2 seconds, one will be an offensive lineman and one a corner or an edge rusher.

With their 3rd, I think people will be surprised when they take a TE. I don’t think they are in love with any of their backups at that spot and they will look for an upgrade that allows them to use the “12” formation more. This draft is deep at TE

I then think they trade the high 4th acquired on day one for a late 4th and a 6th and with their remaining picks

4th- edge rusher or corner, depends on which position they took in the 2nd, here they take the other
6th-safety
first 7th- lb
second 7th- possibly a mobile qb who they think can one day be their backup or a slot wr with kick returning potential.

Looks like that one won't happen either for the Eagles unfortunately.
Really looks like we might be stuck at #10 and most likely getting Nolan Smith which is fine but not as exciting as I hoped tonight would be.

In that case, as long as they can find a willing partner, I think they look to trade back and add another pick or 2.

If one of the quarterbacks falls to 10, that would be great for them to trade back. Not sure that happens though.

Hope there's a GM out there like the Bears GM last year moving up for Justin Fields at #11.

Think that was like Giants moved back 10 spots, got a 5th and then a 1st and 4th in the next draft.

My fav thing about this draft is going to see what that dumb loss to the Saints did to them. Would be topkek if Davis was there at #7

Looks like teams are trying to move up to #3 for Carter (probably Eagles as well). So not sure how much it would change. But yeah would have been nice and probably made it a lot easier / cheaper.

Banner is saying Howie is trying his hardest to trade up.
