He may trade back from 10 or 30, but you know damn well Howie is trading up at some point.Trade down/out more than once on Day 1.

They always fall in love with guys.

Trading down to 16 for Washington’s QB and then back up to 13 for JSN is now my favorite HOWIE scenario. People would lose their minds.
Is this an “Eagles going for the SB this year with a stacked offense” type scenario? Eagles could have a potent offense if they drafted JSN and Gibbs/Bijian.Trading down to 16 for Washington’s QB and then back up to 13 for JSN is now my favorite HOWIE scenario. People would lose their minds.

You really think getting another WR at 13 is the move? Is this in prep of Devonta moving on or something?
Tell me your wisdom JoJo!

I have been consistent in saying they’re one weapon short. I wanted another one last year. WR, TE, whatever they want. It doesn’t have to be at 10 or even 30. But they need one.
Actually, since you mentioned it, I had to say that I think TE is a bigger priority than we probably care to admit. I could definitely see a world where if the right TE falls to our 2nd pick, we'd take him.
I'm not with you on WR at 13, but I also am pro-add weapons so honestly...I wouldn't be upset either.
I really like quite a few TEs in this class. I'm probably going to be more comfortable taking a Sam LaPorta or Tucker Kraft or Zack Kuntz than a Dalton Kincaid even though I love him. The thing is, no one is particularly good at projecting TEs. My confidence level is just going to be higher in another position even at 30.
Musgrave for me. Easy first rounder if he doesn't get hurt this year. Wonder what kind of discount he goes for.I really like quite a few TEs in this class. I'm fairly certain we're due for another good TE pick. This team's done very, very well over the years I've been watching with TEs. Chad Lewis was a UDFA, but Celek, Ertz, and Goedert were all picks who panned out well, so I'm hoping we can build on what they learned with those selections. (Honestly, since 2007, we've taken 6 TEs, and only Cornelius Ingram was a complete washout. Our other picks were Celek, Clay Harbor, Ertz, Goedert, and Grant Calcaterra.)I really like quite a few TEs in this class. I saw that tweet too but forgot to post it.Yep, that works. You can probably rattle off another 3-4 TEs without blinking that would make you say, "Ok, sure. I can see it." This class is so good.
Although let me say this. Who do you think leads the TE class in Y/T, DAdj Y/T, Y/C, Missed Tackles/C, YAC/C, and Explosive Play Rate?
It's Darnell Washington. I get that there are sample size issues, but other guys have them too. This shocked me tbh.

It's the specific info that's interesting. He has felt like a Howie player to me all along. The only thing that's changed is where you might be able to get him.
Trey Burton as an UDFA tooI'm fairly certain we're due for another good TE pick. This team's done very, very well over the years I've been watching with TEs. I'm hoping we look at TE in Round 2 or 3, so we can line up Goedert's potential successor. Round 1 seems too high given the importance we rightly place on the OL/DL, and the holes we have opening up on both over the next couple years.
Yeah, the lines get all the attention, but the Eagles have been consistently one of the best teams at identifying TE talent, LJ Smith notwithstanding. I honestly kind of wish we'd prioritize the position more, and run more 2TE sets/build up value in our backups as trade fodder.Trey Burton as an UDFA too
I’ve always wondered how often GM’s talk to other GM’s and people high in organizations to feel out who they will draft or kicking around trade proposals. It would be cool to get a behind the scenes glimpse of how this stuff works
I wanted Witten so bad that year. I peaked too early.
They should be the team that worries you. They had the most talented roster in football and added Peters, Talib, and Suh while keeping Joyner and replacing Ogletree. Watkins is overrated as a loss. Their DC is an all-timer and their play caller is downright tremendous. And they have the best player in football.
God forbid they're the ones to turn Dom Easley around too. I'm terrified of them taking Fred Warner at 23.
I still think we can trade down and get him in the mid teens (or other solid choices).Peter King has this today:
