What a quitter Bunting is. I remember when hockey players played an hour after getting a lobotomy.

I mean, I wish him a quick recovery and obviously there is no rush to come back to this trainwreck.

The only neutral viewers who would tune in should be those in search of sitcom-ish excitement.

Yeah agree about hockey to an extent (if you’re on the outside a bit trying to get into nhl lineups your incentive is even greater) although I’m sure they are always looking for anything that provides quicker recovery.

If there’s money involved most chances say the person has to jump on some form of PEDs.

And yeah other sports going to be rampant, Olympics, cycling, strength sports, whatever. Just wish they’d inform kids in school prior to jumping into sports.
Yeah if people understand the risk I don’t care what they do. I just wish there is some recognition that things really aren’t equal.

Like, I'm okay with say Bonds Sosa McQuire going to HoF. Because everyone was doing it, they just did it bigger. And it would be cool if that wasn't the trend...

BUT franchises that sink $250+mil into a guy, are gonna want that guy out there doing the thing, so they aren't a neutral party that is thinking for the players' well-being. You gotta perform. And you're gonna find an advantage.

And it you're a young athlete going against 10k+ for a shot at the bigs, you're going to be tempted to get that edge.

Natural talent will only work for a few.

... Screw ovi though, lol

Nope. It's a shame for Bonds, because he was on the path towards the Hall even before his head size expanded and his testicles shrank (or so they say). McGwire was already worthy to some extent too as long as he could keep hitting 40 HR/year indefinitely and get to 500+. Apparently HE didn't think he could do that unaided, though.

Who cares, induct them all, it's a hall of fame not a hall of morality... He famous, for good reason or bad, whatever... He didn't kill anyone, he didn't take anyones spot in a roster by roiding like some terrible players such as Greg Zaun, he didn't even win a championship. So whatever, he's famous and perhaps the best player ever, put him in.

Three pieces of bad news (well, except maybe for Ned starting -- may as well continue to tank with him instead of destroying the younger goalie's confidence even further).

And even the 4th item is bad news for whoever is called up from a playoff-caliber AHL team to be Sullied for 5 minutes on the 4th line or spend 60 minutes in the press box.

EDIT: It's probably just going to be Nieto anyway unless waivers means he MUST report to WBS -- so who cares.
Emil Bemstrom has a stall according to Ms. Haase.

Why the sad face for the remark? Bunting has 3 goals, 5 assists in like 20 games since January started. He's already been "out awhile".

Bonds was playing in a roided league and yet still was the best player to enter the league in 3 decades. Once he got on the juice too he became the best player ever.
Yeah that’s pretty much it. Lance Armstrong is a jerk but I get his point of view. He was in the prime of his career and was finishing behind guys he was better than because it wasn’t a level playing field.

What else are you going to do?

Always use the first stall!
