Good for him, really grinded it out as an undrafted guy to earn the contract. Interesting to see him potentially get a shot on the bottom-6 in the NHL this year. And crazy to think he'll get a crack at it before his brother who went in the first round a couple years ago.

Gaucher not Gauchier. Ten goals in 24 games for the Phantoms and decent size. Rewarding players for progress within the system seems to be a nice way to build a franchise.
