Do Leaf fans realize that Mrazek's Leafs stats are 4.20 GAA and .877 sv% and both had 1 win?
I dunno, what do you think? Do you think they also realize that's still significantly better? How about that Mrazek's career stats are 2.61 GAA and a 0.910 SV% (0.923 SV% last year)? Or that he has 129 wins? Or that you shouldn't judge goaltenders (or any player) by 5 periods of play? Or that there are many positives about our team and even goaltending that could be focused on?

Was there an update on Mrazek during last night's game? I don't recall anything, but somebody told me they heard a mention of him being out indefinitely now?????

I don’t think there’s really been an update aside from that he has resumed skating about a week ago.

Maple Leafs Plan Conditioning Stint for Mrazek

Peter Mrazek insists he felt good when he returned from a groin injury one month ago.
He picked up his first win with the Toronto Maple Leafs in a 5-4 victory against the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 30 but admitted that he felt the injury flare up during his 27-save performance.
"So I finished the game, and then the few days after, we were looking at it wasn't getting any better. So I saw the [team] specialist," Mrazek said. "That was the result of it. Sometimes these things happen."
Mrazek took part in his first full practice on Tuesday. Limited to 100 minutes of action this season, the team will be cautious when approaching his return and send the goaltender on a conditioning stint with the Toronto Marlies this weekend.
Taking this action not only gauges where Mrazek is physically, but it allows the Leafs to keep him on long-term injured reserve in the event he experiences any setbacks.

This will also allow the team to keep him on LTIR, for up to 3 games/6 days, plus an additional 2 games if applied for.

If Campbell wasn’t always getting hurt I would feel the same, but unfortunately his career has been nothing but injuries, just like Mrazek really

Where does this come from? I can't say I know everything about Campbell's career but it looks like he's had your pretty standard amount of goalie injuries. He's had three notable injuries that I'm aware of, and none of them are recurring issues (one being an off-season hand injury). He was still been able to maintain a pretty heavy backup game load for the last couple years in LA, and was fine as the starter in the second half last year.

And when Campbell is nursing his injuries from being overplayed, we can hit the playoffs running with Woll and Hutch and 3.8 million. Absolutely idiotic.

How hard is it for people to actually think?

Yeah, I get that but it seems he's even more fragile than Campbell. Hard to be an insurance plan when your plan isn't available . I was only half serious in my post anyway.

people's hottakes on Mrazek after playing 1.5gms for us seem to be the only survivors from the hilarious amount of hottakes on here from 7 games into the season.

why have people convinced themselves that Mrazek is bad based on 1.5gms? this is the same GM that got us Campbell.
