Big win! Boys had been working hard toward this. Finally got the bounces. Well deserved.
Hopefully can string a few more together. Not an easy league.
If they can keep playing like they did this weekend, they'll have to get some more wins. Hopefully this gives them a boost of confidence and we'll start to see some consistent wins (maybe not a lot of them...). Great to see both younger goalies have great starts over the 3 in 3.

London will be tough, but this team always seems to rise to a challenge and play good games against strong teams.

Niagara had extra picks from trading Bryant, Petes had fewer picks as a result of trading for Bryant.
Good way to look at it. We also had two less thirds after trading one for Strohack and one for Jenken. Had Oke not mismanaged a couple assets over the last two seasons, we may have had even more 2nd round and mainly 3rd round picks kicking around. Lockhart was one of the worst misses. Dubois and Mayer both netted us a 2nd, 3rd and 5th and if we had cut Cam Gauvreau and kept Lockhart, there is no doubt we would have met or even exceeded the return for Dubois and Mayer... Let's hope this current core can find something and we can hold onto some more of our picks.

Was just bored and was checking goals for and goals against across the chl.

Pete’s have the fewest goals for in the chl with 49. 10 fewer than the tie for second last between Halifax and Charlottetown in the QMJHL with 59. Regina and Red Deer in the WHL also have 62.

The Pete’s need help everywhere but especially up front.

Pete’s also have 3rd most goals against in the OHL behind Sarnia and Owen Sound

Going to be a long boring season- arrowsmith would’ve been a smart move for them to make and he could’ve gelled with the other 07’s across the next few years

People said I was silly for complaining about the low return on Lockheart. I’m ok with Strohack but Jenkin trade was as dumb as the Bryant trade.

Tires should’ve been kicked on Nichol from London last year. Not sure if he was available but it would’ve been a nice pick up.

I assume the conditions on the 5th sent to flint for Jenkin is for a OA year I’m not sure they should exercise that next year he hasn’t impressed at all this year

Haha, it's already been a long, boring season. Feels like it's been 50 games or so already.

Don't think Barkey or Cowan will be in the lineup Thursday.
Odie's back....

Leafs fan in me was looking forward to seeing Cowan. Feel like he's been kind of underwhelming this year (starting at Leafs camp) to be honest. What's the London perspective?
The point streak has captured everyone's attention and rightfully so. Cowan has been a workhorse, offensive leader. It's really the first line of Cowan, Barkey, Halltunen as a whole that's been so dominant but I'm not sure you'll see any of those players in the lineup tonight.
Peterborough kid, d-man Caleb Mitchell, has been great in Jr B in this his rookie season, and I was hoping Hunter would insert him into the lineup tonight. Mitchell played well in the preseason games.

Those 2 teams don’t even look like they’re in the same league. Also does Addy have like zero hockey sense?
Well, in terms of players they have to choose from, they might as well not be.

Given the state of the Petes rebuild, you can't even be that mad at losing like that to a team that's motto is "I'm not reporting to the OHL, I'm going to college".

I have no idea what the Knights grievances with the Petes were tonight though to act out like they did.

I'm guessing the Knights didn't like the head check that lead to the 5 minute penalty.

Peterborough also seemed frustrated they couldn't do anything and had their own part in the rough stuff.

It wasn't even called a penalty initially on the ice. How does that hit end up in a major penalty/5 minute Knights power play and Wooley's brutal hit on Cameron.... also results in a Knights power play!

I don’t want to get too bent out of shape after tonight’s game. This was the expected outcome but we really had nothing tonight. A few quality chances but nowhere near the same jump we have had lately. Move forward and be ready for Ottawa and Niagara. Chance at a decent weekend here

Was on Taylor, but the saddest part of that is that it was like 2 inches in front of the ref.

No idea how they managed to talk themselves into a match penalty on McCallum but that was pretty brutal, guess they couldn't let him finish the game, would have risked him beating them in the shootout again.

Any Petes suspensions anticipated?
