He's not an awful player, but what need does Buffalo have for him? Any spending of assets should be directed at bolstering the blueline, especially with the injury to Bogosian.

Holland for a 4th

Thanks for opening up a roster spot for Leivo or Leipsic for us

Holland isn't amazing by any stretch, but he's better than Deslauriers

Lots of players would be better then Nic Deslauries, including Justin Bailey, William Carrier and David Legwand if we signed him off the street.

I feel like I'm being too nasty so if Peter Holland or Nic Deslauries are reading this, I'm sorry.

Holland leaves a lot to be desired. He's a big body centre with a great shot and good hands but I have no idea why he's so average

Can't believe we got a 2nd round pick for this guy. Then again, we traded a 2nd round pick for Bieksa so I guess things even out...

Anyways, Holland is an average 4th line centre. Should be worth a 4th rounder.

you can thank your current coach for that. He should have avoided playing him 4 minutes per game those last few games he played to retain the 2nd and lose a 3rd. Instead he waited until after the 25 games to start scratching him and eventually get sent down(thanks Nonis, should have demoted him earlier).

Now he's back with the Ducks, they both are, conspiracy :sarcasm:

I'd take a 4th for him. Slightly more valuable than a guy like Condon who was picked up for free by the Pens. That's how little value he has imo.

would rather call up schneider/carrier. cal o'rielly if needed than spend an asset on waiver wire material.
