Anaheim Ducks' Corey Perry squirts water into the glove of Los Angeles Kings' Jeff Carter when Carter isn't looking during a stoppage of play on 5/3/14.

Carter on Perry:

Despite less than a dozen games played vs. Anaheim though, Carter is very familiar with at least one one of their star players.

“Corey Perry’s a little rat,†Carter joked. “I know him really well, but he’s a rat on the ice.â€

Tell us how you really feel Jeff.

“I love him off the ice, we’re good buddies. But, on the ice, he’s a weasel man, he’s dirty. He’s one hell of a player though.â€

Yeah I had read elsewhere that they are real buds in the off-season.

All Pearson does is make plays and score occasionally trade the guy! That 70's line does not stick up for each other, blow it up and rebuild!

Sarcasm and hyperbole detected.

With a shenanigan like what Corey Perry pulled off, the Ducks are about to receive a big fat roasting at STAPLES Center, bigger than any roast at Comedy Central. :naughty::D:p:

I honestly wish they weren't would make this series a lot more intense. But maybe after this series it'll change.

Meh. I do and I don't. The rivalry is a pretty forced. The Ducks and the Kings are made to be rivals purely out of geography and stereotyping. There has been little done on the ice to add evidence to a rivalry. Obviously the players have become more rivals with the Sharks and Canucks than the Ducks and it seems weird to try and force it.

I agree wholeheartedly but it does finally appear that a natural rivalry might actually emerge from this playoff series.

Was I the only one who thought it was nice that Perry was cleaning out
Carter's glove ? :sarcasm:
