As someone who has driven in 50 countries + in their lifetime, I can say a guy taking an illegal u in Brooklyn is something that no amount of training can avoid.

Second this. Lived and drove there for 13 years but after 16 years of living on Staten Island (I know, shut up) I don’t feel comfortable or safe when there.

have a nice night out seeing Sonic and eating lobster. if only Fun Time USA was still up the block
Lol idk if you're too young but that used to be a bowling alley before Funtime USA and now it's a public storage place right? And there was a Burger King there too.

yeah I'm too young to know about the alley there. I remember the little mini alley they had upstairs next to laser tag though. the Ninja Turtles machine and the batting cages were up there too.

this whole car accident thing could have been avoided if Fun Time was still open

Avenue Z and Ocean Avenue are supposedly where the two of them were. My father works with someone at Con Edison who grew up down there in the area in Brooklyn and said that's Little Russia, the area where the Russian mob is usually hanging around, he says. He's already talking about how they should trade these two (the friend) because if they're hanging around down there, then according to him, that spells trouble. Bathhouses down there and stuff, too. Massages and a bit extra, etc. Me, personally, I can't see either getting into off the ice trouble of anything significant, but what do I know. I would also think if Shesterkin was trouble and his head was elsewhere, he wouldn't have been 9-1 with a .940sv&.

EDIT: I see a lot of you have mentioned where the accident took place. Little late to the party here.

Ave Z and Ocean Ave is not an affluent suburban neighborhood but it’s a nice family area, far from what the description you heard.

My friend still go out on those boats there for Blues, Strippers, Fluke, etc...

did they get a piece of that gigantic Thresher that was pulled out of the bay a few years back?

on topic: any chance Buch plays tomorrow? I'd figure they let him sit it out to get his bearing back

It's literally a Rite Aid, a supermarket, and a corner store on three corners of that intersection. The fourth is an apartment building I think.

Little Russia was Brighton Beach. But as the years past, most of Emmons Ave in Sheepshead Bay has been taken over also.

Read the Post's story. They were southbound. Definitely were going to Emmons Ave.
