Love the opinions over players when they win or lose. BEST EVER!! WHAT A BUM!!
He looked like a poor man's John Leclair. He threw a few hits. At times if someone else better like McDavid or Crosby draw the attention MacGinnon can actually look dangerous. But everyone knows exactly who he is. A solid player who needs to be the third best player on his team at best.

I don't think Mackinnon is the best player in the world, but I do think on any given night he can be the best player on the ice. That said, I don't think anyone on Canada look like their normal selves. McDavid, Crosby, Mackinnon, they all look pedestrian at times. It's like Canada just thought they could skill check the other team and don't play with much flow.

we can all agree that superstar athletes lose a little something once they put on that Canada jersey. McDavid with just two points, MacKinnon with one point, Makar with zero points, Scheifele with zero points...the only thing they have in common is they just don't play as well as they do when there's a paycheck attached to it.

Quinn Hughes, master of the 3rd line matchup, is the most overrated player in the NHL. Great assist guy, mediocre defender. Still a top 5 d-man, but man the talk about him being one of the top 3 players IN THE LEAGUE is hilarious.
...right now, he's in the Top 3 Defenseman in the League...comparing forwards to defenseman is not really fair, imo...
