RCR were TERRIBLE defensively but electric in the 1st offensively.
Fun/nervy game script. Give the 2 best players in the game a mandate to come back and treat them like gods on ice. The Penguins deserved to have Edmonton tie it up but Ned and some good luck saved them. Liked the DOC-Pulju-Hayes line a lot.

Not so sure he will. In fact I'm pretty sure he won't. He's not gonna trade high picks.
Hard to get a good gauge on that game. The 1st was a clinic of what this team can do. After that the game got pretty loosey-goosey and the stripes took over.
If they can keep collecting points while Geno gets some rest, I like their chances at making the playoffs. You just know when Geno comes back we’ll have about 5 games where he reverts to 10 years ago.
As for the Oilers, that was an embarrassing display of sportsmanship. You won’t win a cup that way. There are too many eyes in the playoffs. If you ever want to win, you have to play like the Devils do. Use your legs and work hard. Stop the diving.

The defense actually played pretty well. 4th line was really good, third too! L1 brilliant first played in their zone all the time, second and third they got matched up with their two headed monster and they really struggled, Sid still amazes with the puck, and Ned was good

Jackets won again tonight 6-2. Their young guys are really starting to ascend. They're a quick team with lots of enthusiasm and upside.
They’re like the Jets. Awesome in the winter but when the snow begins to melt, they forget about hockey.
