Regarding the game, I'm not putting too much stock into whipping the lowly Habs as their goaltending was absolutely atrocious. I think this was merely a team having a bad game and we capitalized all night. That said, there was a different feel to the game last night where I felt things were "clicking" at a higher degree than normal, particularly with Rust, Rakell, and Sid. The plays they were able to make are plays they haven't been making on the regular. I don't think if that's because the Habs flat out suck, if they just had an overly good night, or if it's a sign that things are starting to click for them.

Bunting's been better than Malkin since November 1.
7 points in last 6.
Idk, weird time to whine about him.
They both look bad, but we didn't give up futures in a trade to acquire Malkin. Hope that helps.

Anyhow, I'm sure there's a stat for whatever Bunting's bringing to the ice. Science knows nothing but progress, all life is quantifiable.

Didn't give up shit. We got Brunicke out of that, who is gonna end up better than the late 1st people wanted.
And if Bunting keeps this up he's very tradeable at the deadline.

It was 20 games of Guentzel. I'd take Brunicke alone for that, every time.
