Bunting has been rolling lately. Pretty streaky guy. Looks like he did when he first got traded to us. Hope he can sustain it a while.

The Penguins are currently in a playoff spot, which speaks more to about how shitty the east is right now.
They're sitting where I expected them to sit (around 8th-11th in the conference), but they could make the playoffs finishing with like 85 points.

Price for Pettersson has increased to F Elias Pettersson and a 1st after the Hughes injury and Penguins win.
Sid needs 89 goals to pass Mario in goals and 88 points to pass him in points.
He should pass Mario in points some time next year but passing Mario in goals is gonna be a lot harder. Sid's only pacing for 21 goals this year. Scoring 89 more goals in his career seems like a tall order at this point unless he recovers his goal scoring touch.

And Mario with all the games he missed would be the all time leader in goals. Mario missed like the equivalent of six seasons.
Don't know if he'll stick, but he was fine tonight. Another ECHL alum makes the NHL. Shows all hope is not lost for kids playing there.

That D Man making his debut looked really solid. Probably just a one-game thing but he has earned another. DOC was also pretty good out there. Bunting looks like a new player.
A deserved score. Both Ned and the Isles goalie saved a few goals, could have been 5-4.

I was hoping he’d get some games locally with the Avs but I like the Pens a lot so it’s fun to see at least a cup of coffee. Hopefully more!
