I know you are just trying to goad me on so you can report me.

Move along.

That's the whole issue. Rakell has been great from day one. Why was he ever moved off L1? Why did it take 20 games to get him on the top power play?

I'm not even a huge fan of Kapanen. Our coaches treatment of him is just bizarre. And it's a constant theme with players like Kapanen.

I guess my take is coaches are stubborn and prefer the guys they are comfortable with. Rust is Sullys guy and was going to get the benefit of the doubt until it was so obvious he needed to make a change. I don’t like it and think it’s dumb, but I don’t see any obvious bias. Just stubbornness.

Fair take. I've seen too much of Sullivan shafting young euro talent to think otherwise, but I'm being purposefully overblown.

Having a bad, fabricated opinion is not against the rules of this messageboard.

Neither is disagreeing with it.

I hope we win another cup because the parade route goes east to west. You’d probably enjoy posting about it.

As I said, move along. Feel free to shine your wisdom on someone who gives a shit.

This is true, but also is it wrong?

The Penguins crashing out and embarrassing themselves in '19-'21 (less so last year) has made me jaded towards them. The pre-COVID collapse in 2020 after they looked so good in November-January makes me discount November-January performances from this group. Maybe if they would have fired the coach or changed some of the principals in the group I'd feel differently.
Right, and that jaded aspect seeps into people's analysis of our 2022-23 regular season product, in which it has no place.
I mean I understand it and feel it to a degree. But I try to treat each season as its own entity.

I say we just enjoy this season for what it is, and put our PTSD aside while we still have these great players?

It’s hard to not draw parallels between this team and the 2014 team in terms of coaching.

I don’t think my problems watching the team come from the players, it comes from watching suboptimal favoritism reek it way through the roster.

I’d also argue what makes it so frustrating is that we arguably have the best group of top nine wingers we’ve had to start a season since 2013.

I don't know, there should be no analysis until Jan. 26, that's when the real season starts.

My only beef. Having to wait so long for curses to be removed, and all is right as rainbows and logos are concerned. Every thing else is just noise in the background.

The horror, the horror...
