Sullivan does not like using either of those guys to kill penalties because he doesn't want to tax them with too many minutes.

I think it's pretty bizarre to suggest playing Crosby on the PK more, which has the risk of him getting injured from blocking a shot, just so you can play Zohorna in a depth role.

It was a weird/unecessary trade. He was playing well enough, and they traded him for a rehash and (at the time) a fringe 4th liner.

Yeah, I’m worried Archibald will play in 60+ games this year, look horrible, but fans will find some obscure stats to defend him in the lineup every night, or downplay it because he’s a fourth line player.


It’s been happening for three seasons. The turd players might change, but the story remains the same.

And played with some of the best talent in the NHL in both Pittsburgh and Edmonton and still couldn't stick it in the NHL.

I don't know. I guess all these other teams are just crazy and we know what's best for the teams.

I'm not saying team is always right but the sheer hilarity of overreacting and being upset over losing Z is pretty amusing to me. Many on the board constantly overreact on players, signings, etc

I just want the season to start because I find exhibition hockey boring. Hockey with no stakes (ie. doesn't affect standings) isn't my cup of tea because I need to have an emotional investment in whether the team wins or loses.
