How is that possible?

The NHL will be back on the 27th simply because they need to ensure every team gets 82 games and they’ll do everything they can to make sure that happens. Leafs will be playing on the 27th.

i was wrong about the leafs playing, but the NHL is back. So 50% wrong! Only 3 games (1 leaf one included got postponed). You or or whoever said they’d be shut down for 6 weeks, which isn’t going to happen

You do understand the Leafs don’t have enough eligible players on NHL contracts to ice a full lineup right?
It’s not even a matter of cap space they just don’t have 20 healthy bodies yet.

The thing is they probably do, but unlike the NFL, the NHL is testing players with no symptoms.

I'm willing to bet if the NHL didn't test players with no symptoms the Leafs would have enough players.

NFL has more to lose through game cancellations than the NHL which schedules 82 games per season.

I think it is widely accepted at this point that the NHL protocols are better at slowing the spread of Covid as the biggest spreaders are asymptomatic people with high viral loads.... who are not being tested by the NFL.

2 days wrong, league is literally starting back up on Wednesday, You were wrong. League was never postponing for 6 weeks. Was a horrible take from the jump.

I'm guessing/hoping they meant that covid in general needs to move on.
