Much love to @Scandale du Jour

Translation:

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to French Language Night.

Tonight the Pittsburgh Penguins celebrate their deep connection, both on and off the ice, to the French language.

Highlights of the evening will include:

Max Talbot as the French Language Night Ambassador

Arena staff greeting fans in French

Goal announcements and video board replays in French and English

A feature in the game magazine from Kris Letang and how he learnt to speak English

Here’s hoping the team show the fans some love this Valentine's Day and deliver two points.

Thank you very much and Long Live France!

Remove this Vive la France thing. Us French-Canadians hate the French

That being said, great initiative by the Pens. Lots of French-Canadian players/coaches/scouts in the organization throughout the years. Hell, that's why I became a fan after the Nordiques left! Even the city itself has some French roots (Fort Duquesne).

Hopefully, we destroy the Habs tonight. I won't be able to watch though, but destroy them for me

If the Pens can't win this game and the next one against Detroit at home in regulation, they should ask for a do-over on the Zucker trade and just pack it in for the season...there's nothing that screams "we are not a contender" like losing either one of these two games...

I keep holding out hope that Sully will finally put McCann back at centre. I understand trying to maximize the top 2 lines, but is it worth it when McCann is better at centre and it leaves the team with 2 scoring lines, 1 shut down line and a line that Sully only plays 5mins a night? At the very least he can try ZAR, Lafferty or Aggozino on Geno's LW. These next couple games is the best time to try it. I know many people on here say that ZAR is where offence goes to die, but without Kahun and Jake there just aren't many good LW choices on this team. Moving Rust off of Geno's RW is dumb, McCann needs to be at centre, Horny can't play LW, Simon needs to be with Sid, maybe Tanev (but has Sully even tried him on LW?)

It will be interesting to see how this game goes.

It feels like this is a let down game.

You play a bunch of good teams in a row then you play a team that is out of the playoff picture, it's just human nature to relax and not have the same focus going into this game.
