They played so well that period only for Kallgren to give up a goal in the final minute on just the 7th shot because of course hw did.

I've actually been noticing it the last week, basically every game he'll do something like a pass from the halfboards to a defenseman on the blue line.

There's an opponent close to blocking the lane but Marner thinks he's good enough to make the pass and they get a takeaway. Meanwhile Marner has a much safer play putting it behind the net or something else.

Seems to happen at least once a game (something equivalent but equally as dangerous). He's got offensive skill and use to backcheck well but he's having gaffes like Gardiner and Holl

Marner cost Leafs game 6 OT against the bolts because of his immature play and irresponsibility with the puck.

In Game 7 against montreal game was tied 0-0 in the 1st period. Then in the 2nd period Marner tries to again do his fancy crap at the offensive blue line giving away the puck and feeding Montreal's transition and montreal scores to take the lead

I've just had it with his irresponsible plays and not learning and maturing on ice.

I don't like Kerfoot on that top line. He kills plays all by himself!

I didn't go to crazy on Malgin as in criticizing but still preferred Robertson. Malgin has really been great on the 4th and deserves a look up higher.

I hope they keep them both but Malgin has been surprising the last couple weeks. He's earning it.

Robertson still hanging in there. A lot to learn but I think they could both be really good players going forward.

For me Malgin making the 4th line something is a great story though forsure.

They all speaking of sundin. Luongo was not a real captain. That was ridiculous and awful act back then... selfish too. Luonto acted a fool back then and served as "captain".... should not be allowed even.

And this is why he and Matthews need to be split up. Matthews defers to Marner way too much. Matthews can't be a passenger on a line but he seems to be content with it.

IMO Matthews' game is significantly struggling because of Marner.
