As much as I wanted to see some change, I do have to say I have enjoyed what Maurice has brought to the organization, and it seems like he has been a quality person throughout his time here. It's just too bad it didn't seem like he was going to take this team any further.

Resigning is better sounding than being fired. Interesting that they went with that rhetoric as opposed to just saying he got shit canned. I never like to see anybody lose their job, especially before Christmas, but he's going to be paid regardless to the end of the season.

That said, thank f***ing God. The Jets have long needed a new voice behind the bench.
