Knee Guard
IMO, he should consider retiring. It seems like he just doesn't have the fire anymore.

Think it was how Lalonde talked few games ago. That power-play has to be faster, more tic-tac-toe plays. He didn't mention any players but generally that.
Now afterwards, it's really how Kane plays. Too slow. Too easy to predict for the PK unit. He should move and pass, not be stationary. Or pass faster.

Yeah I think if Kane were getting limited minutes with a big offensive zone time push like Sprong was he'd have less complaints. We just aren't a good enough team to cover up his 5 on 5 issues in a top 6 role. (Same for Tank for that matter)Because there are no dots to connect? Converting chances has been bad but effort and getting chances has been good the past two. Better than prior.
If Kane were on the 4th line like Sprong was no one would care about his lack of effort.
In my unsophisticated opinion, this. ^Lalondes current system is not built for 1 way offensive wingers to succeed.
I'm still trying to figure out who it's built for.Lalondes current system is not built for 1 way offensive wingers to succeed.
copp chiarot veleno holl husso compher can be added too
Tank, Kane and Petry all loaded and ready to rock.
It is noticeable when Kane is not on the team, i don't know what it is. But he's so good on the PP, and i think in the long run the team is better off with him.
Also, his personal shooting% is at 7, compared to his career average of 11.6, so he's been slightly unlucky. His oiSH% on ES is at 7, compared to his career average of 10, so he's been unlucky. I think that a correction will come soon.
A player i'm more concerned about is Compher, his production has been abysmal, and his possession metrics are terrible. Unfortunately there is little indication that his lack of production can be contributed to bad luck. If this keeps up, we're looking at a terrible contract down the road.

And what about tomorrow’s system - and next weeks?I'm still trying to figure out who it's built for.

And we have a dozen or so of those.Apparently it’s „built“ for players with above-average individual skill, who would be successful in any system anyway.
