This team depth is getting underrated. In our division, IMO, only Pittsburgh have that much depth up front.
fast and greasy 4th line
Agree on the price but calling Rick Nash slow is wild2015-16: 15/21/36

Top is Rick Nash for the past three years. Below is Patrick Maroon for the past three years. Both are big, slower LW that are more of a shooter than playmaker with Nash probably better defensively but Maroon stronger up front / along the boards.
The difference in cost between the two is ridiculous.
When did this become a thing in hockey lingo? I feel like I cant get through an entire block of an NHL highlight reel without hearing this word all-of-a-sudden.
It's become the "active stick" of 2018.
I think in terms of fit on this team, Grabner is better. He's also a great PKer and creates goals regardless of who his linemates are. But Maroon was a good pickup. His size/grit/scoring touch combination was something we really didn't have.I've said it, I think Maroon is arguably a better player than Grabner, so big fan of this.
I think they aren't comparable. Both bring a different element.I've said it, I think Maroon is arguably a better player than Grabner, so big fan of this.
Boston paid for the name of rick Nash, as an oiler fan I am definitely looking forward to seeing hall and maroon in the playoffs.2015-16: 15/21/36

I tried to make some lyrics from that "This Love" song by Maroon 5 to praise this trade just now but it was really terrible and I scrapped it.
Society thanks you.

I can NOT believe that parade was 18 years ago already.
Just shoot me now
I can't separate the two in my mind, but I know at the 2000 one there was some minor concern that Lou might leave to GM Boston, or that Larry might not want to come back as coach, and there were chants of something encouraging them both to stay.I don’t remember if it was that 1 or the 1 in 2003 (I’m inclined to say ’03) but I almost died of heat exhaustion lol. I remember stopping at the first place we saw on the way home (wendy’s) where I downed 5 bottles of water and 2 large sodas in the span of about 30 minutes. i'm still peeing those out to this day.
actually im 99% sure it was ’03. 2000 was the one where they blared a snippet of filter’s ‘take a picture’ over and over again while they waited for the players to come out. like, seriously on loop for 45 minutes, speaker was right next to my ear. it’s crazy the random things you remember from things.
Given how long Andreychuk's career lasted, I'm not sure Devils' Andreychuk really counts as "older" Andreychuk...Grabner: Hope he is Friesen 2.0. Might end up Chorske2.0.
Maroon: Hope he is Andreychuk 2.0. (our older version) Might end up Ponikarovsky 2.0.
Ah crap, does this mean he is signing over near St Louis?? And im curious why doesnt his family follow him, are him and his wife divorced or something?
