Plain and simple - what would your team offer for Pastrnak, assuming he signs an extension after the trade?

Pasta is my favorite current Bruin (unless Bergeron comes back), and I'm absolutely against trading him, but curious about what packages other teams would offer for the 26 years old former rocket winner.

Devils - pick #2 , Holtz , plus?

This probably makes the most sense - don't think any other team would offer something more appealing for Boston if they go the rebuild route..

Considering they just signed Lindholm and Hall though - I think they just need to aggressively look for a Center to replace bergeron and not go for a rebuild.

From the Leafs Id do
Nylander + Robertson + Sandin + 2022 1st + 2023 1st + Mrazek.
For
Pasta with 8 year extension + Ullmark.
Bruins can keep Nylander or trade him for a haul as well.

Edmonton needs a dynamic winger like him.

Maybe....

Bouchard
Broberg
RNH

For

Signed Pastrnak
Foligno
How can an Oilers fan advocate trading two young defenseman like that after watching these playoffs? It would have to be something around RNH+1st, if they can’t figure out something around that, then I would easily pass. Wingers are the easiest position to fill out.

I wouldn’t rule LA out.

From a marketing perspective, Pasta to NJ is a slam dunk. We take our Sunday ziti very seriously. Make him an honorary paesan and pass the parmagiana.

That second OA pick, is there a better possible target?

I’d say NJ would be willing and able to offer one of the better packages out there . Fills a major need and fits their timeline

Nuge has a NMC, And he's not waiving it for a team that needs to rebuild here before to long.

Pasta will cost $10,000,000 x 8 years at the very least, Curious where Toronto is coming up with $10,000,000 per to pay him.

TO can't afford Pasta long term unless Marner or Matthews are moved in a different deal later down the line.

Did the NHL get rid of the salary cap and I didn’t hear about it?

So what do Nylander and Mrazek add up to?

Anything is possible.

Obviously we aren't trading our future away to our biggest rival.

He's worth a LOT. You'd need the proper team due to salary, but his value is quite high

6.9 from Nylander and a kerfoot trade covers it.

If they went down that road, I’d think LA would be their first call. Doubt Byfield would be available but Turcotte’s scouting report sounds identical to what the Bruins look for in their centres.

Newhook would be another guy I would think you’d call about. No clue if he’d be available or how the cap would work.

Doubt they send Pastrnak anywhere in the east. That’d be a bit of a gut punch for Bruins fans watching him several times a year for the next few years where they are likely struggling if they’ve gone down this road

IF Bergeron retires I’d have a conversation with Marchand ask him if he’s willing to move. I’d prefer to keep Pastrnak and move Marchand for Newhook +. If Avs don’t win Cup this year they may be open to adding Marchand. Marchand-MacKinnon would be lethal
