One thing my wive and I have been experimenting with lately is keeping power rankings of our four children posted on the refrigerator. The kids naturally want to be at the top of the list, so they're always going the extra mile to gain favor with mommy and daddy. A lot of people say you shouldn't play favorites with your kids, but that's nonsense. A little bit of healthy competition can go a long way. Since implementing the ranking system, we've seen improved behavior from all four of our children, as well as a 42% increase in productivity. If your kids are acting up, give it a shot! :teach:

I've decided to up the ante and took my son Brendan to his first hockey game tonight for winning "child of the month." You should have seen the looks on the faces of my other three children when they found out they weren't going. Guess they should have worked harder, huh? :biglaugh::yo::clap:

Cody literally spent the entire evening crying about it. :biglaugh: Then, I moved him down the rankings because he wouldn't shut the f*** up. :yo:

I tried this before, but it ended bad. I ended up trading 2 of my kids to the neighbors for future considerations
