GDT: Panthers vs. Rangers 7:00 PM

Need to come out with intensity. Score the first one and set the tone.

Pretty much the same concept as the last few games.
 
Scary ending tot he season. These teams that have nothing left to play for but to be spoilers are very, very dangerous. Can't take any of them lightly.
 
Florida will be sementing their position for the draft? No participating parties could be interested in anything but a Ranger win here? Play Biron, tell them to have fun.

Was at the game Tue against the Isles. Panthers didnt look horrible. Hard to tell though because the Isles scored 5 in the first 22 mins and then took the rest of the night off. The Panthers PP was pretty pathetic though. We gave them 6 PP and they only scored on 1. The only reason they scored was because the goalie and a defenseman lost their stick. Their PK was pretty bad too, easy entry into the zone. I say Rags win 3-1.

Coaches might, if they sit comfortably. All about self interest and a little bit about moral sentiments. I'd say Rangers up by a lot after 1st before follwed by an heoric but resultless effort by the guests. No fighting.

Not with the Rangers. Dump, and chase. Or dump and don't chase.

2 against these guys, who are the worst in the NHL.

This time of year, if the Rangers don't have 48 points by tomorrow, they don't deserve to make the dance. Make it happen. I have tickets for the 27th against the Devils - and I want to see Biron in net. Cannot allow the Devils to have a chance to ruin the Rangers season again, because you know they'll play that game like game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

I'm sure you never played a sport before in your life. This is why it is so hard for me to be a Damn fan. Players have pride. the panthers.are coming into MSG and you bet they are gonna play their best in the stage and spotlight of nyc. Especially for a team that is known to have letdowns against lesser opponents, the rangers or our so called fans better not take these guys lightly. hockey is unlike any other sport with a little physical play anybody can beat anybody.
 
They control their own destiny, in the middle of a playoff push, at home and against the worst team in the NHL with the worst defense in the NHL.

If they can't find it in themselves to just ****ing win....

I might have taken things a bit far up there, sorry. But I do think there is a difference in attitute when you're playing for a play off spot and a playing for nothing, or less. Just as it's a difference between regular season games and play off games.
I've played hockey all my life, but never with a draft system. Didn't mean to offend anyone, just trying to find the right angle for predicting a Ranger win.
